Sumi-e Painting!

Also known as Ink wash painting, Sumi-e is a type of Chinese and East Asian ink brush painting which uses black ink, such as that used in Chinese calligraphy. It's traditionally done on rice paper.

Using the sumi-e kit generously rented out by MoNA (Museum of Northwest Art), any students that wanted to try their hand at it, did! And the results were phenomenal.
