Value and Form

March 25, 2022:

Art students were tasked with studying the importance of value and form when drawing and painting. Value is the intensity of the color/darkness of it, and form is the actual shape itself.


To represent value, they made a watercolor gradient from dark to light. And for form, they of course painted some spheres and cubes! They had proper shadows and lighting to represent the fore mentioned value scale.
